Current site behavior
GestationChart uses no analytics and sets no cookies today. There are no account registrations or contact forms. Calculations happen in your browser. Single calculation inputs live in the page URL so the result can be shared or reopened. Those query parameters are part of the requested URL and may be processed by the hosting service.
Hosting
Cloudflare hosts the site and may process technical data such as IP address, browser information, and requested URL to deliver and secure it. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its handling of that information. No Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon or other analytics script is included by this site.
Herd planner and local storage
The herd planner stores your list in this browser’s local storage on your device. The list is never uploaded to our server. You can remove it with “Clear list” or your browser’s storage settings. Clearing browser data or changing devices can make a saved list unavailable, so use Export CSV when you want a separate copy.
CSV files are created on your device. An imported file is read in your browser, and its accepted entries join the local list. If local storage is unavailable, the planner keeps the list only in memory and tells you to export or share it to keep it.
Share links
Herd share links put herd data in the part of the link after “#”. Browsers do not send that fragment to our server, but anyone you send the link to can see the entries. The link may also be kept in browser history or by the service you use to send it. Compact herd links do not include the note field. Choose what you share carefully.
Advertising
Ads are disabled at launch. The following describes possible future advertising; enabling it requires an updated policy and any required consent controls.
We may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google My Ad Center and learn about other vendors’ choices at YourAdChoices. When ads are enabled, any required consent controls will be shown.
Affiliate links
There are no affiliate links on the site yet. If added, some links may be affiliate links; retailers may use cookies or referral parameters to attribute purchases, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. See the affiliate disclosure. External sites have their own policies.
Contact emails and changes
If you email us, your email address and the information you provide are used to review and respond to the message. Email is processed by the services used to deliver and manage that correspondence. Avoid including private herd or personal information that is not needed for the report.
This policy may change when the site’s practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. Contact contact@gestationchart.com with a privacy question.
